Project goal

The main goal of the project is to improve the company's energy efficiency, among other things by introducing innovative, fully automated production technology.

What the project delivers

  • 01Replacement of three outdated workstations with hydraulic injection moulding machines by modern, automated workstations with all-electric machines.
  • 02Purchase of the peripheral equipment needed to operate the new machines.
  • 03Replacement of two molecular-sieve dryers with modern mobile compressed-air dryers.

Target group

The direct beneficiaries are Siropol's production employees. Replacing outdated machines with modern workstations will significantly improve the ergonomics, safety and comfort of their work.

Results

  • Electricity demand of the machines in operation reduced by more than 50%.
  • Carbon dioxide (CO₂) emissions reduced by 72.549 t per year.
  • Hydraulic oil consumption eliminated entirely (approx. 340 litres per year).
  • Raw material consumption reduced by approx. 8%.
